Patna: The Patna Municipal Corporation has been honored with a prestigious national award in the Swachhata Survekshan (National Cleanliness Survey). Dr. Neetu Kumari Navgeet, the cleanliness brand ambassador of Patna Municipal Corporation, expressed her happiness and congratulated all the residents of Patna for this remarkable achievement.
She said that the honor received for Patna’s outstanding participation in the national cleanliness survey and for being the best in cleanliness across Bihar is a proud moment for every individual living in Patna. This recognition is the result of collective efforts made by all citizens and officials to improve cleanliness, which has significantly improved the city’s ranking.
However, she emphasized that much work remains to be done. Dr. Navgeet urged everyone to jointly work on changing their daily habits. She stressed the importance of segregating wet and dry waste at home to facilitate easy disposal. Furthermore, she called for an end to the unhygienic practices of spitting and open defecation within the city.
She firmly believes that only through integrated and sustained efforts can Patna become a truly clean and beautiful city.
