Bhopal, July 20, 2024 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted India’s economic progress since independence and called on industrialists to invest in the state during a regional industry conclave. He emphasized significant infrastructure improvements and sector-specific growth, including advancements in pharmaceutical exports and the expansion of the defense and food processing industries.
Chief Minister Yadav detailed how India has surged economically over the past seven decades, surpassing its former colonial rulers. He urged industrialists to consider Madhya Pradesh for their investments, citing the state’s enhanced water and electricity infrastructure as key enablers of industrial growth.
“Madhya Pradesh is poised for further industrial growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Yadav announced. He highlighted ongoing projects, such as defense production initiatives in Jabalpur and the establishment of 517 MSMEs in the Mahakoshal region. The state’s pharmaceutical sector, which exports to 160 countries, exemplifies its global reach.
Yadav also pointed out the significant potential in the food processing industry and unveiled plans to establish a diamond polishing industry and a skill center for textiles in Jabalpur. He reassured both foreign and domestic investors of the state’s readiness and conducive environment for business growth.
“Madhya Pradesh is not just open for business; it is ready to thrive,” Yadav asserted, inviting industrialists to partake in the state’s dynamic economic landscape.
