Faridabad, 30 May, 2024 : In a dedicated effort to ensure the seamless counting of votes, District Election Officer and DC Vikram Singh has laid out essential guidelines to the Assistant Election Officers. The directives emphasize the importance of completing all preparations within the stipulated timeframe. On Thursday afternoon, Haryana Chief Election Officer Anurag Aggarwal conducted a state-level review via video conference, meticulously assessing district-wise readiness for vote counting and issuing crucial instructions. In response, DC convened an on-site meeting with relevant officials to affirm adherence to these directives. During the meeting, DC delved into the detailed preparations required for the vote counting process. He highlighted that all necessary arrangements, including those for the counting of postal ballots, must be in place. Additionally, stringent measures will be enforced, such as prohibiting mobile phones and electronic devices within the counting center. Specific guidelines for randomization were also provided to ensure a fair process. Present at the meeting were key officials including ADC Dr. Anand Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Swapnil Ravindra Patil, CEO of Zila Parishad Satbir Mann, SDMs Trilokchand, Amit Mann, and Shikha, HSVP Estate Officer Siddharth Dahiya, DIO Lakshmi Narayan Mittal, Election Tehsildar Jai Kishan, among others. With these comprehensive measures, the District Election Office is poised to facilitate a transparent and orderly vote counting process.
