UPSC Declares Written Result of Combined Defence Services Exam (II), 2025

A total of 9,085 candidates have qualified for SSB interviews for IMA, INA, AFA, and OTA courses starting in 2026. Check details and registration guidelines here.

New Delhi, October 10, 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the written examination results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam (II), 2025, held on September 14, 2025.

A total of 9,085 candidates have qualified for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews for admission to the following courses:

  • Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun – 161st (DE) Course, July 2026
  • Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala – Course commencing July 2026
  • Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad – Pre-Flying Training Course [220 F(P)], July 2026
  • Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai – 124th SSC (Men) & 124th SSC (Women) (NT) Courses, October 2026

Provisional Candidature and Certificate Submission:
All qualified candidates must submit original certificates verifying age, educational qualifications, and NCC (C) certifications. Deadlines for submission are:

  • IMA & INA: 1st July 2026
  • AFA: 13th May 2026
  • OTA (SSC courses): 1st October 2026

Candidates must submit certificates to the respective service headquarters and should not send originals to UPSC.

Registration for SSB Interviews:
Candidates who opted for the Army (IMA/OTA) must register on the Indian Army recruitment portal at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to receive interview call-up details. Those already registered need not register again.

Change of Address & Contact Details:
Candidates should promptly update any changes in their address directly with the respective service headquarters.
