Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the oath-taking ceremony of newly inducted ministers in the Government of Bihar on Thursday, marking a key political event ahead of upcoming electoral preparations in the state.

The ceremony was held at the Raj Bhavan in Patna in the presence of senior leaders from the ruling alliance, legislators, and government officials. Bihar Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers joining the state cabinet.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the new ministers and expressed confidence that the expanded cabinet would strengthen governance and accelerate development work across Bihar. He stressed the importance of public welfare, infrastructure growth, employment generation, and implementation of central schemes at the grassroots level.

Senior leaders from the BJP and alliance partners also attended the ceremony, highlighting the political significance of the cabinet expansion. The move is being seen as an effort to strengthen the state government’s administrative reach and improve coordination before major political battles in the coming months.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar welcomed the new ministers and urged them to work with dedication and transparency for the people of Bihar. He said the government remains committed to development, social welfare, and maintaining law and order in the state.

Political observers believe the cabinet reshuffle could play an important role in balancing regional and social representation within the ruling alliance.
