His entry is being viewed as part of a broader political reshaping within the Janata Dal (United) camp following recent changes in Bihar’s leadership structure.
Earlier this year, Nishant reportedly joined JD(U) and began engaging in grassroots outreach through initiatives aimed at strengthening public connect. Despite early hesitation about taking up an official position, party insiders suggest that sustained persuasion from senior leaders played a key role in his decision to consider a cabinet role.
