DAV Public School, NTPC Faridabad Hosts Successful “Fire Safety Awareness” Program

Faridabad, 17 APRIL 2025: DAV Public School, NTPC Faridabad, organized a comprehensive “Fire Safety Awareness” program in its premises. The event was conducted by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) team, led by Mr. Jai Bhagwan and Mr. Yashveer Yadav.
The program aimed to educate students on safety and rescue measures in potential fire-related disaster situations. The CISF team provided theoretical and practical training on extinguishing various types of fires through live demonstrations. Students learned how to control fires caused by cooking gas, electrical short circuits, flammable chemicals, and other reasons.


Essential information on first aid, emergency contact details, and fire exit routes was also shared with the students. The program was well-received, with students and teachers participating enthusiastically.

Mrs. Alka Arora, Principal expressed her gratitude to Mr. Vikram Rawat (Assistant Commandant, CISF NTPC Gas Power Plant, Faridabad), Mr. Neeraj Uniyal (Fire Safety Officer, CISF NTPC Gas Power Plant, Faridabad), and the CISF team. She emphasized that such training programs not only raise awareness but also develop confidence and quick decision-making skills in students, which are crucial during disasters.

During the program, students asked questions on various aspects of fire safety, which were answered by the CISF officers in a clear and practical manner. This interactive session helped strengthen the students’ understanding of disaster management and safety measures.

The “Fire Safety Awareness” program was a resounding success, making students aware of critical safety measures and social responsibility. The school administration appreciated the CISF team’s efforts in conducting this informative and engaging program.
