Faridabad, April 16, 2026: A comprehensive free health screening camp was organised at the National Power Training Institute in Sector 33, Faridabad, with the aim of promoting awareness about preventive healthcare and overall well being. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students, officers and employees who availed themselves of various medical checkups.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Director General and Member of CEA Hemant Jain, as part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to ensure the health and fitness of its community through regular medical initiatives.
A wide spectrum of healthcare services was provided during the camp, including general medicine, orthopaedics, pulmonology, gynaecology, dental care, ENT consultation, physiotherapy and diet counselling. Essential diagnostic tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, pulmonary function and ECG were also carried out for participants.
Specialist doctors offered consultations on different health concerns and shared guidance on disease prevention along with practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The camp aimed not only to diagnose health issues but also to encourage early intervention and awareness.
Principal Director Training Dr Indu Maheshwari also took part in the camp and underwent a routine checkup. Other officials present included Director Simulator Durgashankar Sahu, Deputy Director Bhavna Chaudhary, Deputy Director Civil S Kar and Deputy Director Ashok Kumar Dixit.
The medical camp was supported by a team of experienced doctors and healthcare professionals from Apollo Clinic and SVR Hospital. Key contributors included gynaecologist Dr Vibha, physiotherapist Dr Sunil Sharma, physician Dr Ansar, dietitian Dr Himanshu Rani and dentist Dr Shaisa, along with their paramedical staff, ensuring smooth and efficient conduct of the programme.
