Faridabad: Haryana Cabinet Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management and Urban Local Bodies Vipul Goel inaugurated the Maharaja Agrasen Gate in Sector 15, Faridabad, on Sunday, highlighting the enduring relevance of Maharaja Agrasen’s ideals of equality, cooperation, brotherhood and public welfare.
Cabinet Minister said Maharaja Agrasen’s life and teachings represented social equality, mutual support and service to humanity. His ideals continued to inspire people to work towards a harmonious, strong and united society, he added.
Describing the gate as more than an entrance, he said it symbolised the region’s historical heritage, cultural pride and social values. It would also help future generations connect with Maharaja Agrasen’s legacy and strengthen the spirit of harmony, cooperation and service in society.
Minister said a society could progress meaningfully only when it was built on mutual trust, brotherhood and respect for all sections. He added that taking every section along and working continuously for public welfare was a collective responsibility.
He thanked the dignitaries, social representatives and residents present at the inauguration, acknowledging the role of community participation in preserving cultural heritage and strengthening social unity.
