Department of Legal Affairs Organises Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 with Enthusiastic Participation
The Impressive TimesNew Delhi: The Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice, organised a series of activities under Swachhata Pakhwada 2026, witnessing enthusiastic participation from officers and staff while reinforcing the spirit of cleanliness and collective responsibility.
The observance began with a mass Swachhata pledge and the rendition of the Swachh Bharat anthem at Shastri Bhawan, reaffirming commitment to a clean and healthy India. The pledge was administered by Dr. Rajiv Mani, Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs.
A signature campaign was also conducted within the office premises, encouraging employees and visitors to actively support the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
To boost engagement, a selfie booth was set up, allowing participants to creatively express their support for cleanliness initiatives. A rangoli activity further highlighted themes of environmental awareness and hygiene through artistic representations.
Officials said the initiatives aimed to promote sustained awareness and encourage active participation in maintaining cleanliness not only within workplaces but also in the wider community.
The Department reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the goals of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan through continued efforts and public engagement.
