New Delhi: Senior IPS officer Rajeev Ranjan assumed charge as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Delhi Police on March 6, 2026. Currently serving as Additional Commissioner of Police, he will oversee the department’s media relations and public communication. Rajeev Ranjan is an experienced officer who has served in several important positions in the force.
Earlier, he had also served as Addl. CP Rohini. Notably, he has earlier served as PRO of Delhi Police as well, gaining extensive experience in handling media coordination, press briefings and public outreach for the department.
With his reassignment to the post, Rajeev Ranjan will act as the key link between Delhi Police, the media and the public, ensuring timely dissemination of information and strengthening transparency in policing.
