Haryana Government Formed Through Political Manipulation, Not Public Interest: Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda

Rohtak MP Alleges Corruption, Rising Crime and Unemployment; Calls for Mass Mobilisation Against BJP Ahead of 2029

Faridabad: Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda launched a sharp attack on BJP government in Haryana, alleging that it was formed through “political dishonesty and black money management” and has no concern for public welfare. He called upon Congress workers to intensify their struggle against what he termed an anti-people government. Addressing a late-night event organised by Youth Congress Urban District President Vikas Dayma, Hooda said BJP government depends on “power, machinery, conspiracy and money,” while Congress draws strength from public support. He asserted that the party is ready for change in 2029 and will neither fear nor bow. Hooda alleged that Haryana leads in unemployment, corruption and crime, claiming key Congress-era projects were shifted out and HPSC recruitments were irregular. He urged CM Nayab Saini to prioritise making Haryana crime-free, alleging rising shootings, and termed the Centre “weak,” warning that a US trade deal would hurt farmers while pensions, ration cards and MGNREGA are being cut. Referring to Faridabad, he said major projects including the Badarpur bridge, ESI Medical College and Metro extension were initiated under Congress, alleging no Metro expansion in 12 years and calling the Smart City “neglected.” Vikas Dayma said the party would strengthen its base at the booth level and continue opposing anti-people policies. Former MLA Neeraj Sharma, Haryana Congress spokesperson Tarun Tewatia, and several other party leaders and workers attended the event in large numbers.
