New Delhi : ESIC Extends ‘SPREE’ Scheme Until January 31, 2026: A Golden Opportunity for Employers and Employees to Access Social Security
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has announced a one-month extension of the ‘SPREE’ (Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers/Employees). Initially set to conclude in December, the scheme has been extended due to its remarkable success and strong demand from stakeholders.
Extension Driven by Overwhelming Public Response:
This decision comes in light of the enthusiastic response from employers and stakeholders across the country. By extending the deadline, ESIC aims to bring all eligible units and employees who have previously remained outside the ambit of social security under its protective cover.

• Extended Duration: The scheme will now remain operational from January 1, 2026, to January 31, 2026.
• Terms and Conditions: The registration drive will continue under the same terms and conditions as specified in the original directives issued on July 1, 2025.
