Duty-Free Shopping Goes Digital as Adani Airports and MakeMyTrip Launch Pre-Booking Service

New facility allows international travellers to pre-book products online, saving time and accessing exclusive offers

New Delhi– In a move aimed at enhancing the travel retail experience, Adani Airport Holdings Limited has partnered with MakeMyTrip to introduce an online duty-free pre-booking service for international travellers.

The initiative allows passengers to browse and reserve duty-free products in advance of their journey, covering both departure and arrival. Travellers can explore more than 10 product categories across 100+ brands and over 14,000 items, with access to exclusive online deals.

The service is designed to shift shopping decisions to the trip planning stage, helping travellers save time at airports by reducing browsing and checkout queues. This also enables better planning between check-in, boarding, and arrival.

AAHL currently operates duty-free outlets at several major airports, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, and Thiruvananthapuram, positioning the partnership to reach a wide base of international flyers.

Company officials said the collaboration aligns with efforts to create a seamless, end-to-end travel experience, combining convenience, efficiency, and value for modern travellers. The service will be accessible through the MakeMyTrip platform, with product pick-up available at participating airports.
