Namo Toy Bank will bring joy to underprivileged children along with toys: Om Birla

Kota, 18 September, 2025: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated the ‘Namo Toy Bank’ at Paridhan Uphaar Kendra, Kota, on Thursday. On this occasion, he said that the smile on a child’s face is a source of new energy and inspiration for all of us. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life, our resolve is to ensure that no child in the Kota-Bundi parliamentary constituency is deprived and every home has an atmosphere of happiness and self-respect.

Birla said that through this toy bank, initiated by children for children, school-going kids will not only donate their toys but also spread joy to those who are deprived of resources but are equally deserving of happiness. The smile of our children holds the bright future of India, and Namo Toy Bank is a manifestation of that thought.

The Namo Toy Bank has received thousands of old toys from school children in the city, and Birla thanked all the children, their teachers, and parents who participated in this initiative.

Toy Bank will strengthen the spirit of service and sensitivity

Lok Sabha Speaker said that this initiative will develop human values like service, leadership, and sensitivity in children, which will guide their lives and strengthen society. This is not just a collection of toys but an expansion of a culture of service, compassion, and partnership that will make our children responsible towards society from a young age.

MLA Sandeep Sharma said that this initiative defines Speaker Birla’s sensitivity towards society and how a public representative cares for every section of society.
