New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a three-day visit to the United States today, focusing on a series of high-level engagements and strategic meetings. His trip began with the annual Quad Leaders’ Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, where key topics such as climate change, emerging technologies, and security in the Indo-Pacific region will be discussed. The Quad grouping, consisting of India, the United States, Australia, and Japan, continues to strengthen its partnership to promote peace, progress, and stability in the region.
In his departure statement, Prime Minister Modi expressed enthusiasm for joining US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the summit. On the final day of his visit, Prime Minister Modi will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly.
