International Labour’s Day was celebrated with great zeal at Heritage Global School

Faridabad, 1 May, 2024 : “No work is insignificant. All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.

” Martin Luther King, Jr. International Labour’s Day was celebrated with great zeal at Heritage Global School, Faridabad, on Wednesday, 1st May, 2024, to honour and appreciate the hardworking supporting staff. The program started with Morning Prayer followed by a speech by a 9th class student on the significance of Labour’s Day and the importance of hard work and labour.

Then through a street play and group song the students brought out the need to give due respect to the labours who are the unsung heroes behind the establishment and smooth-working of any organization. Various gifts were given to the housekeeping staff and the supporting staff by the students as a token of love and appreciation. The principal of school, Mr. Charles Abraham, greeted the supporting staff and said that this day which marks the celebrations of the working class and the labourers has put an end to their exploitation and unfair treatment. He encouraged the students to pay due respect to all the supporting staff, housekeeping staff and other helpers who help them at school and home. The program ended with the singing of National Anthem leaving gratitude in every heart.
