Government reinforces commitment to labour welfare with new projects, awards, and education support

Lucknow– The Shramveer Gaurav Samaroh 2026 was inaugurated in Lucknow, highlighting the government’s continued focus on the welfare and empowerment of workers. The event marked the launch and foundation laying of several key initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for labourers across the state.

During the event, a land allotment letter was issued for the construction of an ESIC hospital in Greater Noida. This facility is expected to strengthen healthcare access for workers and their families. In addition, multiple labour welfare schemes were inaugurated, designed to provide social security and better living conditions for the workforce.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of meritorious students from the first batch of Atal Residential Schools. These students were awarded certificates and tablets, promoting digital learning and encouraging academic excellence among children from worker families.

Principals from schools in Prayagraj and Varanasi were also honoured for their contributions to education. Alongside them, several workers who have played a significant role in supporting the country’s economy through their hard work were felicitated.

The government reiterated its commitment to prioritising labour welfare, stating that the progress of workers is essential for the nation’s overall development. The ceremony concluded with congratulations extended to workers and best wishes for the bright future of students.
