New Delhi, feb 03, 2025: In his last lap of campaigning in Delhi elections, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led a high-energy series of mega roadshows and jansabhas across Delhi, rallying support for AAP’s transformative governance under Arvind Kejriwal. Addressing thousands of enthusiastic supporters in Shalimar Bagh, Shakur Basti, Wazirpur, and Adarsh Nagar, Bhagwant Mann urged the people of Delhi to stand with AAP for continued prosperity, highlighting the party’s unwavering commitment to delivering essential services like free electricity, water, education, healthcare, and welfare programs.
Bhagwant Mann drew a sharp contrast between AAP’s people-first policies and the BJP’s destructive agenda, warning that voting for the opposition could strip Delhiites of their hard-earned benefits. He stressed that Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership had not only changed lives in Delhi but also paved the way for a brighter future for Punjab, reinforcing the power of honest, transparent governance.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, during a roadshow in Shalimar Bagh, said that the people of Delhi have made up their minds to elect Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister for the fourth time. He stated, “Everywhere in Delhi, people are saying that they are going to bring Arvind Kejriwal back as Chief Minister for the fourth time. I don’t know about PM Modi’s ‘acche din,’ but on 8th February, Delhi will definitely see the arrival of Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘sachhe din.’ Strengthen Arvind Kejriwal’s hands and support him wholeheartedly.”
Highlighting AAP’s governance, he said it has transformed lives with free essential services. “Earlier, a ‘jhadu’ was used to clean homes and shops—now, under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, the entire country will be cleaned. AAP’s government has ensured free electricity, water, quality schools, Mohalla Clinics, free bus travel for women, and free pilgrimage for the elderly, helping every household in Delhi save at least Rs. 25,000 every month. And now, the Rs. 2,100 Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana will also be launched.”
Bhagwant Mann warned that voting for the BJP would take away these benefits. “If you press the ‘kamal’ button, all these savings will disappear, and whatever little money you have left at home, they will take that too. So, form your own government and be the masters of your own fate.”
During his roadshow in Shakur Basti, CM Bhagwant Mann said that on February 5, the people of Delhi will choose their future for the next five years. “They have two options: one side stands for education, while the other stands for conflict. One side snatches public money to benefit their friends, while the other ensures that taxpayers’ money is returned to them. On election day, pressing the jhadu button will mark the end of the people’s responsibility and the beginning of Arvind Kejriwal.” He urged voters to elect Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister for a fourth consecutive term.
Bhagwant Mann called out the opposition resorting to gundagardi, stating that they were arresting AAP workers and attacking journalists out of frustration. He emphasized that AAP stands for peace, development, and essential services like infrastructure, electricity, water, healthcare, and education—the same principles they have implemented in Punjab.
He highlighted that 90% of Punjab households now receive zero electricity bills and that his government has provided 50,000 youth with government jobs. According to him, “With the right intentions, anything is possible.”
Slamming the BJP’s attempts to buy votes, Bhagwant Mann said they believed they could manipulate Delhi’s people with money. However, he advised voters to take whatever they offer—since it is public money—but to press the jhadu button on February 5.
