Modern Delhi International School celebrates Annual Day with Musical Play & Scholar Badge Ceremony

Faridabad, December 30, 2024:MDIS Sector-89 celebrated its awaited Annual Day cum Badge Ceremony in a program that went for three whole days, 28-30th December 2024. The event featured a great musical play: Surdas A Vision Beyond Sight, based upon the 16th-century Bhakti Saint Surdas’s great eternal emotion and his soul journey during the time of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.

The impressive cultural presentation, replete with the talents showcased by the school’s excellent students, enthralled the audience and set the tone for this ceremony, where 1,734 meritorious students from Classes II to XII from Sector-87 & 89 were felicitated for their outstanding academic and co-scholastic achievements.

Gracing the event were a high-profile panel of Chief Guests: Dr. Sanjeev Singh, MD of Amrita Hospital, Greater Faridabad A.K. Singh, Former Chairman & MD of NHPC Limited and now Chairman & MD of NHPC Limited; and the young enthusiastic Mr. R.K. Chaudhary. The guests were seen mesmerized by the scintillating performances and culturally rich presentations that depicted nothing but the confidence and fervor of the students themselves.

The packed Amphitheatre buzzed with excitement as the students took center stage to present the School Report, which was met by a thunderous round of applause. The Souvenir released during the ceremony captured the glory of the students’ achievements, and their collective efforts and their vibrant spirit and great talents were appreciated by all the guests.

In his address, he urged the students to stand above all challenges and trust their inner strength along with divine faith so that they could succeed. Chief Guests also appreciated the leadership of Dr. Verma for visionary guidance in developing excellence across all spheres in MDIS.

It finally ended with the National Anthem, which echoed the entire amphitheater as a moment of unity, patriotism, and fraternity were shared by the entire congregation.
