Mega Blood Donation camp organised on Death Anniversary of C. Dass Group Founder Dr. Chhabil Dass Bhatia

Camp at Vamani Overseas witnesses strong participation, 225 units of blood collected in tribute

Faridabad: A mega blood donation camp organised on the death anniversary of noted industrialist, philanthropist and founder of C. Dass Group, late Dr Chhabil Das Bhatia, saw the collection of 225 units of blood.

The camp was jointly organised by C. Dass Foundation, Rotary Faridabad East and Rotary NCR Golfers, with the aim of carrying forward his values of service, dedication and humanity.

The camp was held at the premises of Vamani Overseas Company in Prithla, where floral tributes were first paid to the late Dr Bhatia. Chairman of C. Dass Group B.R. Bhatia, Managing Director R.K. Bhatia and Director Vipin Bhatia were present on the occasion. They encouraged the donors and said that such initiatives keep alive the ideals of late Dr Bhatia, whose life was devoted to social service.

They also expressed gratitude to all participants and described blood donation as one of the noblest acts of humanity. Employees of the company, along with local residents and youth, participated enthusiastically in the camp, contributing to the success of the initiative. Organisers said the camp was not only a tribute to late Dr Bhatia but also an effort to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation.

On the occasion, a quarterly magazine highlighting the social initiatives and achievements of C. Dass Foundation was also released by B.R. Bhatia and other dignitaries present.
