Faridabad, October 4, 2025 – DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector 49, Faridabad, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with joy and enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The occasion was marked by cheerful faces, excitement, and heartwarming displays of love and affection as students paid tribute to their grandparents.
The celebrations commenced in accordance with Vedic tradition, with the solemn rendition of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The day’s festivities continued with vibrant cultural performances, setting a lively and festive tone for the event.


Kindergarten Wing students stole the spotlight with their impressive recitations, speeches, and performances dedicated to grandparents. The Welcome Dance and a captivating performance to the song ‘Aaj Kal Tere Mere’ by Nursery B and LKG C students mesmerized the audience. Other notable performances included the dance on ‘Dadi Amma’ by LKG C and ‘Hey Shubhrambh’ by Nursery A, both of which received enthusiastic applause.


The Principal, Rajan Gautam, addressed the gathering, urging grandparents to continue supporting and motivating their grandchildren in all their endeavors.
The highlight of the celebration was a spectacular performance by the UKG students titled “All Musical Ramayana”. Dressed as characters from the Ramayana, the young performers skillfully combined talent with tradition, leaving grandparents delighted and the audience highly impressed.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, followed by Shanti Path and the National Anthem, leaving behind cherished memories for all attendees.
