Addressing the speculation, she explained that Govinda often stays at their bungalow due to his late-night meetings and social gatherings, while she resides with their children in their apartment.
Speaking about their living arrangement, Sunita shared, “We have two houses. Our bungalow is just opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat, so we prefer staying there. Govinda, on the other hand, often comes home late after meetings. He loves talking and entertaining people, which is why he stays at the bungalow. But that does not mean we are separated.”
Govinda’s lawyer also issued a statement dismissing the divorce rumors, asserting that the couple’s bond remains strong and that they have resolved their past differences. “There is no trouble in their marriage. They have been together for decades, and any assumptions about a separation are baseless,” the lawyer said.
The rumors began circulating after a video featuring Sunita went viral. In the clip, she strongly refuted the speculation, asserting that no one could come between her and Govinda. “I have stood by him through thick and thin. People should stop spreading unnecessary rumors about us. We are as strong as ever,” she stated.
