Palwal tops CM Window rankings for eighth consecutive month under DC Harish Kumar Vashishth’s leadership

District secures first position among all 22 districts with a score of 84.70; DC Harish Kumar Vashishth receives government appreciation

Palwal: Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Dr Harish Kumar Vashishth, Palwal district has secured the top position on the Haryana Government’s CM Window portal for the eighth consecutive month. For its consistent and effective grievance redressal performance, the state government has formally commended DC and the Palwal district administration. With a score of 84.70, Palwal ranked first among all 22 districts of the state.

This achievement is attributed to the strategic leadership of DC Dr Harish Kumar Vashishth and the coordinated efforts of district officers, various departments and field-level staff. The recognition has boosted the morale of officials, while citizens have also expressed appreciation for the administration’s prompt response to public grievances.

CM Window is a flagship initiative of the Haryana Government that enables citizens to directly submit complaints and issues to the administration. The platform was launched by former Chief Minister and current Union Minister Manohar Lal and is being effectively carried forward under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Taking complaints seriously, the Palwal district administration prioritised time-bound resolution through regular review meetings, inter-departmental coordination and swift field action, resulting in sustained top performance over eight months.

DC stated that every complaint is closely monitored within a fixed timeline. Clear instructions were issued to departmental officers to avoid pendency and to obtain feedback from complainants after resolution. This system has significantly improved the grievance redressal rate in the district. He credited the achievement to the CM Window nodal officer and CTM Apratim Singh, along with all departments for their teamwork and efficient functioning.

He further said that resolving public grievances remains the administration’s highest priority, whether through CM Window, Samadhan Shivirs, Jansamvad programmes, night stays or the “Administration at Your Doorstep” initiative.

He urged officers to maintain this level of performance in the future and emphasised transparency, accountability and sensitivity in public service. Special focus, he added, would be placed on permanent solutions to prevent recurrence of the same issues.

He also highlighted the role of eminent persons appointed by the state government to strengthen monitoring and ensure quick resolution of CM Window complaints. He appealed to them to actively participate in public interest and help ensure justice to complainants.

He noted that as per government guidelines, resolution of CM Window complaints is considered complete only after verification and approval by the designated eminent Person, ensuring complainant satisfaction and accountability.
