Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Shot Dead in Jaipur

Jaipur, December 5, 2023– In a shocking incident, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the President of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena’s Rajasthan Unit, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jaipur on Tuesday afternoon. The assailants reportedly fired four shots at Gogamedi at his residence in the Shyamnagar police station area.

Despite being swiftly taken to Metro Mass Hospital, Gogamedi succumbed to his injuries. Four individuals, including Gogamedi’s gunman, sustained injuries during the shooting. The wounded, including the gunman, are currently receiving treatment at the Trauma Center of Sawaiman Singh Hospital.

After the attack, the assailants fled the scene, leaving a wave of shock and unrest in the region. Ajit Singh Mamdoli, the National Convenor of Karni Sena, expressed concern, suggesting the involvement of a significant gang or individuals in the incident. Mamdoli warned that if the perpetrators are not apprehended promptly, Karni Sena would launch a substantial movement in the state.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi had reportedly received threats prior to the fatal attack. The tragic incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of public figures, prompting calls for a thorough investigation to bring the culprits to justice. The local authorities are expected to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the assassination of the Karni Sena leader.
