BJP Promises Free Education Till PG and Support for Competitive Exams in Second Delhi Poll Manifesto

New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday unveiled its second manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections in 2025, detailing a series of promises aimed at addressing the needs of students and the youth in the city. As part of its vision for education, the party vowed to provide free education “from KG to PG” for underprivileged students attending government-run educational institutions in Delhi, ensuring that no child is deprived of education due to financial constraints.

BJP MP Anurag Thakur, who launched the party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ (pledge document), emphasized the party’s commitment to empowering Delhi’s youth with the resources they need to succeed. The manifesto promises a one-time financial assistance of ₹15,000 to youth preparing for competitive examinations. This financial aid aims to ease the burden of preparation costs, particularly for students who may not have the means to afford expensive coaching classes or study materials.

In addition to this, the BJP also promised to reimburse two-time travel and application fees for competitive exams, further reducing the financial strain on aspiring candidates. These measures are part of the party’s broader strategy to promote educational access and encourage youth engagement in various government exams, ensuring a level playing field for all students, regardless of their economic background.

The manifesto is a key part of the BJP’s push to appeal to the city’s large young population, positioning education and employment as central themes of its election campaign. The focus on educational reforms, particularly for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, aligns with the party’s broader agenda of making quality education accessible to all.

With the promise of free education, financial assistance for exam preparation, and the reimbursement of exam-related costs, the BJP seeks to further strengthen its hold in the Delhi region, where education and employment opportunities remain central concerns for many families. These promises come as part of a broader suite of policies the BJP is advocating to improve public services, infrastructure, and youth engagement in governance.
