Chandigarh, July 30 2024 : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini called upon teachers to play a pivotal role in transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Speaking at the state-level orientation program for newly appointed Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in Panchkula, Saini emphasized the critical role teachers have in shaping future generations to elevate the country’s honor and respect.
At the event, Chief Minister Saini distributed appointment letters to the newly recruited TGT teachers. He announced that the waiting list and detailed results for TGTs would be released within two days, assuring transparency in the process. Saini praised the outstanding performance of female candidates in the recruitment results, highlighting their achievements as a testament to hard work.
In addition, the Chief Minister extended congratulations to renowned shooter Manu Bhaker for securing a bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol mixed event at the Paris Olympics 2024. Her success, following an earlier medal in the 10-meter air pistol event, was celebrated as a source of pride for Haryana and the nation.
During his speech, Saini commended the new TGTs for their achievements and encouraged them to continue their noble work, particularly those who teach underprivileged children outside of their official duties. He reiterated the government’s commitment to simplifying lives and accelerating development, building on former Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s foundation. Notable advancements include the establishment of universities and medical colleges, with a focus on ensuring girls have access to higher education within 20 kilometers of their homes.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s success in providing 141,000 merit-based jobs over the past decade, contrasting this with the alleged corruption of previous administrations. He emphasized the transparency and merit-based approach to government job recruitment, challenging the opposition to account for their past actions. Saini noted that, since January 2024, thousands of recruitments have been completed, with 7,765 TGTs appointed in July alone.
He also criticized the previous government for misleading the public and urged vigilance against individuals attempting to undermine the current administration’s efforts. He warned against anti-social forces and highlighted the government’s efforts to ensure transparency in job recruitment.
Haryana Education Minister Seema Trikha congratulated the new teachers, emphasizing the government’s dedication to serving the people. She praised the merit-based and transparent job allocation process, underscoring the teachers’ crucial role in achieving the Prime Minister’s vision for Amrit Kaal. Trikha encouraged teachers to instill Indian values in students and suggested promoting the use of “Jai Hind” instead of “Good Morning” to foster patriotism.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gian Chand Gupta affirmed that government jobs are now awarded purely on merit, without corruption. He highlighted the increase in coaching centers due to this transparency and urged new TGTs to commit to delivering excellent education and advancing the state.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including BJP State President Mohan Lal Badauli, Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa, and various ministers and senior officials.
