Career Fair at Modern School, Sector-17 Faridabad: Exploring Diverse Career Opportunities

Faridabad , 19 Oct , 2024 –A CAREER FAIR was organised by MODERN SCHOOL Sector-17 Faridabad  on 19th October, 2024. The event was coordinated by Mr. Gulshan Memoria, Founder and CEO of Inspired Valley.

Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Sr. Academic Coordinator welcomed all University represntatives and dignitaries present on this occasion. Respected Principal, Mrs. Neelima Jain, Academic Officer, Dr.(Mrs) Vipula Sharma, Academic coordinators, students of grade 10,11 and 12 and parents graced the event. 26 renowned Universities as Shiv Nadar University, Bennett University, K.R. Manglam, SRM University, Amity, GLA etc. participated in this career fair.

Ms. Chestha Proctor of the school anchored the whole event. Mr Gulshan Memoria addressed the audience about the importance of career choices, emphasizing the shift from parental influence to individual decision-making.The primary objective of the event was to raise awareness about various growth industries and the opportunities they present. He falsified the traditional notion of limiting career options to Science or Commerce streams, encouraging exploration across diverse fields. He highlighted the importance of personal aspirations and the legacy one aims to leave behind, stressing the significance of informed decision-making and the acquisition of life skills.

The representatives from various universities engaged students with insightful questions about current industries,career pathways and courses available, aligned with future job demands, stressing the importance of skills alongside knowledge acquisition.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Nichael Chandila, Chief Literary Prefect expressing gratitude to Mr. Gulshan Memoria and the representatives from various universities for their mentorship and enlightenment regarding various career opportunities. The students and the parents felt enriched with knowledge about diverse career prospects.
