Congress’s goal is to make 32 lakh unemployed persons government employees within a year – Hooda

Palwal,Faridabad, May 18, 2024 : Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda has said that the Congress’s aim is to turn 32 lakh unemployed people into government employees within a year, and to give the employees the same pay scale and old pension scheme benefits as in Punjab.
Hooda, who had arrived from Faridabad today to campaign for Congress candidate Mahendra Pratap Singh, addressed many election meetings in the Faridabad Lok Sabha. In his address, he said the people of Haryana have made up their mind to shatter the arrogance of the BJP. He said all communities are going to vote unanimously for Congress, to protect the country’s constitution and democracy.
Hooda said after the victory in the Lok Sabha elections, it is certain that Congress government will be formed in Haryana. “The Congress government will not allow unemployment and criminals to remain in Haryana. Apart from this, Congress’s guarantee is to provide guarantee of MSP to farmers, ₹ 6000 pension to the elderly, fill 30 lakh vacant posts in the Center, and 2 lakh vacant posts in Haryana,” he said.
“For the last 10 years, the people of Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency are suffering from lack of basic facilities like electricity, water, cleanliness, good roads and breathable air. Getting rid of this problems will be the priority of Congress. Congress has fielded a strong and honest candidate in Mahendra Pratap Singh, who is connected to the public. People will definitely ensure victory for the Congress candidate with a huge vote, to attack the corruption prevalent in Faridabad,” he added.
On this occasion, Haryana Congress President Chaudhary Udaibhan said this election is not a contest between Congress versus BJP, but a choice between democracy versus dictatorship. “BJP wants to end democracy in India by establishing a one-party government like China and Russia. That is why BJP talks about only one party whereas Congress wants participation of every section,” he said.
“Congress’s manifesto of 5 Justices and 25 Guarantees is a revolutionary document. That is why BJP is worried about this, because whoever reads the manifesto of Congress will definitely vote for Congress,” he added.
In his address, Congress Faridabad candidate Mahendra Pratap Singh said this time voters will vote after considering the policies of the candidate, his work, his character and future plans. “Palwal and Faridabad districts have been yearning for development for the last 10 years. The BJP government has failed to provide even basic facilities to the people in the entire Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency. There has been no development during this government, but only corruption and scams. This election is the right opportunity for the public to curb these scams,” he stated.
