The first session of the 18th National Assembly will be held on June 24th

New Delhi : The first session of the 18th Parliament will convene on the 24th of this month. During the session, newly elected members will be sworn in and confirmed and the Speaker of Parliament will be elected. President Drupadi Murmu is expected to address a joint sitting of Parliament and Rajya Sabha and debate his speech. The Rajya Sabha session will begin on the 27th of this month. Parliament will adjourn on the 3rd of next month. Parliamentary Chief Secretary Kiren Rijiju said in a social media post. Rijiju said that the people have decided and now MPs must serve the nation. He said Parliament is the perfect platform to debate, discuss and realise the aspirations of 1.4 million Indians.
