Faridabad, October 31, 2025: A workshop on “Digital Vigilance – A Shared Responsibility” was organized today at Jiva Public School, Sector-21B, Faridabad by Punjab National Bank (PNB). The event aimed to create awareness among students and citizens about safe digital banking practices and preventive measures against online frauds in the modern digital era.
In compliance with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Punjab National Bank is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 27 October to 2 November 2025. As part of this observance, several awareness activities are being conducted to promote transparency, accountability, and vigilance among the public. Continuing this initiative, a debate and speech competition on the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility” was organized at Jiva Public School.


The program commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by the presence of Vijendra Singh, Circle Head (Gurugram), Rahul Pandey, AGM, and Vivek Jha, Branch Manager from PNB.
The school leadership — Chairman Shri Rishipal Chauhan, Director Chandralata Chauhan, and Senior Coordinator Lipika Kaushik — extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests.

Students actively participated in the speech competition, showcasing their talent and awareness about vigilance and cyber safety. A short skit on digital vigilance performed by the students drew wide appreciation from the audience.
The winners of the Speech Competition were:
Tanvi Kathuria (Class IX) – First Position
Yashika (Class XI) – Second Position
Lavanya (Class VIII) – Third Position
While presenting the awards, Vijendra Singh appreciated the cooperation and support of the school management. He lauded the disciplined learning environment at Jiva Public School and motivated students to move ahead with enthusiasm, knowledge, and a sense of responsibility. He also shared valuable insights on digital security and safe online banking practices.

Chairman Rishipal Chauhan addressed the gathering, emphasizing that vigilance is vital not only in the digital domain but in all walks of life. He reaffirmed that the Jiva Learning System is dedicated to fostering awareness, integrity, and responsible citizenship among students.
The event concluded with the National Song, marking the end of an inspiring and insightful session.
