Jaipur/ Delhi, 2 April, 2024– n a significant development, the Northern Railways has announced that railway services will be affected due to the ongoing doubling and electronic interlocking work at the Ramapura Phul and Tapa stations along the Rajpura Junction-Bhatinda rail section. According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railways, several trains are set to face partial cancellations and route diversions. Train No. 14735, originating from Sri Ganganagar, will be partially canceled between Bhatinda and Ambala from April 23, 2024, to April 30, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 14736, starting from Ambala, will be partially canceled between Ambala and Bhatinda from April 24, 2024, to May 1, 2024. Additionally, several other trains will be diverted from their original routes during this period.
**Extra Halts at Intermediary Stations; Stations Without Additional Halts**
Moreover, to accommodate the ongoing works, certain trains will make extra halts at intermediary stations. However, some stations, such as Ramapura Phul, will not host additional halts during this period. This will impact services like Train No. 14887, originating from Rishikesh, which will now halt at Hadiaya station instead of Ramapura Phul from April 2, 2024, to April 29, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 14888, commencing from Badmer, will halt at Lehera Muhabbat station instead of Ramapura Phul from April 2, 2024, to April 29, 2024.
