Urva Chaudhary Shines with Gold in 10m Air Pistol at Khelo India Youth Games 2025

Delhi, May 7, 2025 :On the third day of shooting events at Khelo India Youth Games 2025, Urva Chaudhary from Uttar Pradesh clinched gold in the 10m Air Pistol (Women’s Youth category) with an impressive score of 237.7 points.

She was closely followed by Vidhi Sharma from Rajasthan, who secured silver with 236.3 points, while Kanak from Haryana bagged bronze with 215.6 points.

Expressing her happiness, Urva said, “This is my third Khelo India participation and I’ve seen consistent improvement in my performance. I have won five international medals for India, and with support from Khelo India and NCU, the journey to this gold has been smooth and encouraging.”

 

Silver medalist Vidhi Sharma said, “This was my first Khelo India experience. While I aimed for gold and am slightly disappointed, I’m still happy to take home silver. Being a medalist motivates me to represent Haryana at more such platforms.”

Bronze medalist Kanak shared, “This is my second outing at Khelo India, and I’m satisfied with my performance. The arrangements made by SAI and Government of Bihar are commendable.”

Delhi is hosting three sporting disciplines—Shooting, Cycling, and Gymnastics—from May 4 to 15 at Karni Singh Shooting Range and Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
