Faridabad, February 25,2025 – The Mining Department is fully alert and vigilant to ensure that no illegal mining takes place in Faridabad district and mineral transport is done with valid permits within the prescribed rules. As per the instructions of Director General of Mining Department Sh. K.M. Pandurang, the officers of the department in Faridabad district are keeping an eye on every mining activity and transport of mineral vehicles.
District Mining Officer Kamlesh Bidhlan said illegal mining is not taking place in any area of the district and she and her team are continuously checking the vehicles coming from Rajasthan. She said many cargo vehicles were checked and documents related to mineral transportation were thoroughly examined. Along with checking all goods carrying vehicles, they also checked how much goods are being transported and whether correct bills are being produced or not. During investigation, no vehicle was found without a bill.
The mining officer said if anyone does illegal mining of Yamuna’s sand, strict action will be taken against him. She called upon the people to inform the district administration about any such activity in their notice. Apart from this, if the department receives any complaint regarding illegal sand mining, the inspection team of the department and the State Enforcement Bureau will take action against the concerned as per the rules.
