Yogi Adityanath Applauds BJP’s Triumph in Milkipur Bypoll & Delhi Assembly Elections

Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday congratulated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and leaders for their “historic victory” in the Milkipur Assembly bypoll and the Delhi Assembly elections.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Adityanath expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering trust in BJP’s governance. “Heartiest congratulations to all the dedicated party officials and hardworking workers for the historic victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in the by-election of Milkipur Legislative Assembly seat!” he wrote in Hindi.

The UP CM attributed the win to the public’s faith in the ‘Double Engine BJP Government’ under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “This victory symbolizes the people’s unwavering trust in the public welfare policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to service, security, and good governance,” he stated.

Congratulating BJP candidate Chandrabhanu Paswan for his victory in the Milkipur bypoll, Adityanath also extended his gratitude to the people of the constituency. “Hearty greetings to the people of Milkipur Assembly constituency who voted for the continued journey of development and good governance in Uttar Pradesh! Jai Shri Ram!” he added.

In another post, Adityanath celebrated BJP’s decisive win in the Delhi Assembly elections, where the party is set to return to power in the national capital after nearly three decades. “Congratulations to the dedicated party officials and workers for the historic victory of the BJP in the Delhi Legislative Assembly Elections-2025!” he posted.

Hailing PM Modi’s leadership, Adityanath said, “This victory is a stamp of approval from the people of Delhi on the successful leadership of PM Modi and his development-driven policies dedicated to public welfare, inclusive growth, and national progress.”

The BJP is poised to form the government in Delhi after 26 years, with the latest Election Commission trends showing the party leading in 48 out of 70 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) trails behind with 22.

Adityanath’s statement underscores the growing confidence in the BJP’s governance model, as the party continues to expand its electoral footprint across India.
