New Delhi, January 16, 2025: As the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections draw closer, Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has officially filed his nomination from the Jangpura Assembly constituency. The move comes as AAP intensifies its efforts to secure another term in the Delhi Assembly, focusing on key issues such as education, healthcare, and governance reforms.
Addressing the media shortly after filing his nomination, Sisodia expressed his deep confidence in the people of Jangpura, emphasizing that the future of the country is heavily reliant on advancements in education and healthcare. He reaffirmed his party’s commitment to these areas, stating that the AAP government has already made significant strides in transforming Delhi’s education system and health services.
Sisodia also reiterated the party’s core values of transparency and good governance, which are central to AAP’s approach. The last date for filing nominations is set for January 17, while voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will take place on February 5. The counting of votes will be conducted on February 8.
