Missing Woman with ₹20,000 Reward Successfully Traced by Southern Range Crime Branch

New Delhi, June 7, 2025: In a significant breakthrough, the Southern Range Crime Branch successfully traced a 26-year-old missing woman, for whom a reward of ₹20,000 had been declared by the Commissioner of Police, Delhi. The operation was carried out by W/Const. Arti and W/Const. Mamta under the guidance of Inspector Satish Malik.

Acting on a vital lead, the police team reached Nizamuddin Railway Station, New Delhi, and located the missing woman, a resident of District Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The woman had initially come to Delhi to work as a domestic help but left the job after just one day. She was found and kept at Apna Ghar Ashram, Budhpur, Alipur, as she had no family in Delhi.

However, on February 1, 2025, she was again reported missing by the officials of Apna Ghar Ashram at PS Alipur. Despite consistent efforts by the local police, her whereabouts remained unknown, prompting the announcement of a cash reward for any information leading to her recovery.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Southern Range Crime Branch team, she was successfully traced on June 7, 2025. Her family members, the NGO officials, and the concerned police stations have been duly informed.

This successful operation highlights the commitment and vigilance of Delhi Police in locating missing persons and ensuring their safe return.
