Faridabad, April 11: The auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the Digambar Jain Samaj in Sector 16, Faridabad. The 1008th birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir, the 24th and last Tirthankara of Jainism, began with special rituals and prayers at the temple early in the morning.
