Mumbai, November 1, 2025 — Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan took a firm stand against body-shaming in the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, calling out contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri for making derogatory comments about Ashnoor Kaur.
In a promo shared by JioHotstar Reality, Salman questioned Tanya and Neelam about their opinion of Ashnoor, to which both replied positively. However, the host immediately revealed their earlier remarks, where they had compared Ashnoor to a “dinosaur” and “elephant.”
Salman reprimanded them sharply, asking, “Ye haq kisne diya aapko ye sab bolne ka?” (“Who gave you the right to say such things?”). The moment left Ashnoor visibly emotional, as she said, “Shame on you, Tanya.”
Earlier, Tanya had commented that Ashnoor’s outfits “don’t suit her,” while Neelam reportedly referred to her as “Jurassic Park.” The clip quickly went viral, drawing strong reactions from viewers and celebrities.
Actor Gauahar Khan also weighed in, slamming Tanya in an Instagram Story. “Calling someone haathi or moti behind their back is disgusting,” she said. “If you think putting others down makes you prettier, then you’re not beautiful at all. True beauty lies in kindness.”
The controversy has reignited conversations around body positivity and respect in reality TV, with fans praising Salman Khan for taking a stand against bullying and insensitive remarks.
