Saurabh Bharadwaj Slams Delhi Police Over Murder of Huma Qureshi’s Cousin in Scooter Parking Dispute

New Delhi, August 8 – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has strongly criticised the Delhi Police after actor Huma Qureshi’s cousin, Asif Qureshi, was stabbed to death in a dispute over scooter parking in Jangpura.

According to police, the incident took place on Wednesday night when Asif confronted the accused, identified as Ujjwal and Gautam, over parking space. The altercation escalated, and Ujjwal allegedly stabbed Asif multiple times. The victim was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Police have arrested both accused. Bharadwaj said the incident reflects Delhi’s deteriorating law and order situation under the central government’s control. He also referred to other recent crimes, including a chain-snatching case in Chanakyapuri involving MP R Sudha, criticising Union Home Minister Amit Shah for failing to ensure public safety.

The case has sparked fresh debate over policing and street crime in the capital.
