Gen Z movement will not influence Uttarakhand polls, says Uttarakhand Rural Development Minister Bharat Singh

Faridabad : Uttarakhand Rural Development and Khadi & Village Industries Minister Bharat Singh Choudhary on Sunday asserted that the ongoing Gen Z youth movement in Delhi and other parts of the country would have no impact on the upcoming Uttarakhand Assembly elections. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would contest the elections on the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and the development carried out by the CM Pushkar Singh Dhami government.

Minister was speaking to reporters during his visit to Nahar Kutir on Surajkund Road, where he attended a gathering hosted by former Haryana Minister Kartar Bhadana on the occasion of International Friendship Day. Bharat Singh Choudhary received a warm welcome with flower garlands, while Kartar Bhadana said he was delighted to host his longtime friend on the special occasion.

Addressing the media, Bharat Singh Choudhary said Uttarakhand’s educated voters would not be influenced by the ongoing youth movement.

He said the BJP would contest the Assembly elections under PM Modi’s leadership, while highlighting the development work carried out by the Pushkar Singh Dhami government. Criticising the Congress, he said the party no longer has a strong national face comparable to its past leaders and expressed confidence that the BJP would return to power in Uttarakhand with a clear majority.

The event was attended by Mohna Market Committee Chairman Sandeep Tongar, Ompal Tongar, Ved Bhadana, Councillor Virendra Bhadana, former councillor Rajesh Tanwar, Azad Bhadana (Pali), Madhu Bhadana, Ravidutt Guruji, Girraj Bhadana (Pali), Veerpal Daroga, Manoj Mahashay, Surendra Karna of Palwal, BJP leader Pampi Bhadana, Daroga Bhati, and several village elders and local dignitaries.
