Chandigarh- Nayab Singh Saini addressed a special sitting of the Haryana Legislative Assembly on Monday, emphasising that the session was dedicated to strengthening the voice and rights of women across the state.

During his speech, the Chief Minister underlined that the resolution placed before the House was not intended to target political opponents, but to send a firm and unified message against any injustice or exploitation faced by women. He stressed that those who undermine women’s dignity and rights would ultimately be held accountable by the people.
Saini called on members from all parties to set aside ideological differences and extend their full support to the resolution. He noted that issues concerning women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment should transcend political boundaries and be addressed with collective responsibility.
The special session, centred on women-centric concerns, reflects the government’s effort to reinforce policy focus on gender equality and social justice, while encouraging bipartisan cooperation on matters of public interest.
