Participants joined the run to share the message “Hum Fit to India Fit” and reaffirm their commitment towards responsible tourism.

Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra said:
“Today is World Tourism Day. On this occasion, I would like to thank respected Vijay Goel ji, Sunita Godara ji, and Madhukar Pandey ji for organizing this event through the Health Fitness Trust. The tourism scenario in Delhi is changing very rapidly. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta’s vision is to make Delhi a tourism hub. Delhi has gained several modern tourist attractions such as the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, Kartavya Path, and War Memorial. The effort is to ensure that Delhi is not just a transit hub, but a destination where tourists stay and explore, giving it a unique identity at the international level. On this occasion of World Tourism Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Delhi and to all citizens of India.”
