Rawal Public School hosts 11th Rawal Inter School Speech Competition, “Free Dialogue 2023”

FARIDABAD ,20 DEC 2023 -Rawal Public School ,Ballabgarh hosted 11th Inter school speech competition Free Dialogue 2023 on 16 December,2023 where in Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma welcomed the distinguished guests, well acclaimed jury members ,zealous participating students and their mentors from notable fifty schools from Faridabad District. The school following its tradition of hosting this Inter school speech competition since session 2013-2014 has once again demonstrated its commitment to enhance the significance of critical thinking and eloquence in our education system by providing a platform for students to explore the intricate relationship between modernization and cultural identity. This event showcased the school’s dedication to nurture students’ intellectual abilities and promoting healthy competition.
The competition brought together fifty distinguished schools across Faridabad District , including Modern Delhi International School, DAV, Manaskriti, The Modern and many more.
There were three categories for the speech competition : Primary for Class III- V students, Middle for Class VI-VIII and Senior for Class IX-XII Students . Participants had the opportunity to present their arguments in their main speech, spanning three minutes. A renowed jury panel from the field of education, research and innovation was entrusted with the task of shortlisting and deciding the best orators. The distinguished judges: Ms.Isha Gandhi ,Ms Hemlata Chaudhary, Mr. Prantik Bose, Dr. Nilima Prakash, Mr. Ajay Bhagat and Ms. Sriparna Basu Mullick evaluated the participants based on criteria such as content, delivery, confidence, intonation. Several students displayed exceptional skills in articulation, making the competition both rigorous and intellectually stimulating. The speeches featured thought-provoking arguments, well-researched content, and impeccable delivery.
The school also arranged a fruitful and conducive workshop on the Impact of NEP in school curriculum for the mentor teacher escorting students from various schools by Ms. Gayathri Gopalan, Head Pedagogue at PW, working on the curriculum development for K–8.

Modern Delhi International School emerged as the winner of the prestigious Annual Inter-School Speech Competition. The Runner up school trophy was bagged by Rawal International School. In Primary Category, Amyra Luthra from MDIS was awarded Ist Position following Sidhi from Rawal International School on 2nd position and Netri from Vidya Mandir School on 3rd Position. Under the Middle Category 1st Position was bagged by Hritika of Rawal Public School followed by Britti Ahuja from DPS Greater Faridabad on 2nd position and Riya Sharma from Rawal International School on 3rd Position. In Senior Category Lavanya Wadhwa from DAV Public School, Sector-37 secured the first position followed by Aditya Pratap Singh Phogat from MDIS on second position and Faiza Fatima from Takshila Model Sr. Sec School secured third position.
The event served as a platform for students to express their perspectives and engage in a meaningful presentation on the pertinent topic.
Chairman of Rawal Education Society Sh. C.B. Rawal and Pro Chairman Mr. Anil Rawal congratulated Rawal Public School for this proud moment of keeping up the legacy of hosting such a spectacular event from last 11 years and wished them to continue the same for the years to come.
