Greater Noida , 22 October, 2024: The Additional CEO (ACEO) of Greater Noida Authority, Saumya Srivastava, chaired the Industrial Assistance Committee meeting on Tuesday. It was attended by representatives and entrepreneurs from various organizations, including the Noida Entrepreneurs Association, Indian Industry Association, Industrial Entrepreneurs Association, and Ecotech-12 Association. The entrepreneurs sought the implementation of a One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme for industries. The ACEO assured them of discussing this with the CEO and taking a decision soon.
Entrepreneurs pointed out that bills were being issued despite the lack of water supply, and there were delays in issuing No-Dues certificates. In response, the ACEO directed the finance department to resolve these issues promptly. He also mentioned that efforts are being made to further simplify services like No-Dues, Functional Certificates, and CIC (Compliance Industrial Certificates).
The ACEO assured that a committee would soon be formed under his chairmanship to address industrial issues. Entrepreneurs also raised concerns about traffic problems and requested a reduction in the time period for heavy vehicle no-entry restrictions. At the same time, they appreciated the prompt issuance of Functional Certificates and the quick resolution of industrial problems.
Amit Upadhyay, President of the Industrial Entrepreneurs Association, noted that the work of the industrial department of the Authority has improved significantly over the past six months. A large number of Functional Certificates have been issued to industries.
The meeting was organized by Udyami Mitra. ACEO Saumya Srivastava, along with General Manager (Finance) Vinod Kumar, OSD Naveen Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Planning) Sudhir Kumar, Senior Manager Chetram Singh from the Authority were present at the meeting. On behalf of the entrepreneurs, the Noida Entrepreneurs Association President Vipin Malhan, Industrial Entrepreneurs Association President Amit Upadhyay, Chanchal Kumar from IIA, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Sunil Dutt, S.K. Sharma, Rakesh Agarwal, and Amit Agarwal from Ecotech-12 Association, among others attended the meeting.
