Faridabad, August 8, 2024: To instill qualities like diligence, dedication, and discipline among the students, the Investiture ceremony of the newly elected student Council for the session 2024-25 was held on 8th August 2024 at the prestigious DAV Public School NTPC Faridabad. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.
The distinguished chief guest, Mr. Vikram Singh Rawat, Assistant Commandant CISF, graced the occasion with his wife, Mrs. Suman Rawat, and other esteemed guests, including Mr. Neeraj Uniyal, CISF Fire Safety Officer, Inspector Subodh, and Sub Inspector Mr. Girivar Yadav, who were accompanied by their battalion.
On this momentous occasion, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Alka Arora, extended a warm welcome and honored the dignitaries. The program began with a melodious welcome song and an exhilarating dance performance, setting the tone for the rest of the ceremony.
Subsequently, the honorable guests presented badges and sashes to the newly elected student Council, comprising Head Boy Rohan Rana, Head Girl Neha, Deputy Head Boy Hasitam Vats, Deputy Head Girl Bhoomi, Co-curricular Captain Sravani, Sports Captains Shreya Upadhyay and Kunal Nagar, and the captains of the four houses (Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda, and Atharvaveda), vice captains, sports captains, and co-curricular captains. The guests administered an oath to the students, charging them to fulfill their responsibilities and duties towards the school with integrity and dedication.
The chief guests offered their blessings and best wishes to the students in their new roles, motivating them to carry out their duties with enthusiasm and commitment. They shared inspiring anecdotes from their tenure, emphasizing the importance of positive thinking, hard work, and determination.
