Mahakumbh 2025: Maha Shivratri Amrit Snan Preparations in Full Swing

Prayagraj : The historic Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj will officially conclude tomorrow on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri. The district administration has made extensive preparations to ensure a divine and seamless experience for devotees participating in the sacred Amrit Snan. With thousands of pilgrims expected to gather at the holy ghats, special measures have been taken to manage the crowd and maintain order.

Prayagraj District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad stated that all necessary arrangements have been completed to conclude the Mahakumbh in a sacred, well-organized, and memorable manner. The administration’s primary goal is to facilitate smooth travel for devotees and ensure their spiritual journey is both divine and unforgettable. Mandad emphasized that the preparations have been made following the directives of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who conducted a video conference to review the arrangements.

For the safety and convenience of the devotees, extensive security measures have been put in place. Police personnel, Home Guards, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams, and administrative officials will be deployed across key locations to ensure efficient crowd management. Surveillance systems and emergency response units will also be on standby to handle any unforeseen situations.

Cleanliness and hygiene have been prioritized, with regular monitoring of bathing ghats, temple premises, and public spaces to maintain sanitation. Special attention has been given to ensuring the cleanliness of the Lete Hue Hanuman Temple, Akshayvat, and Saraswati Koop, where large crowds are expected during Maha Shivratri. Additional sanitation staff has been deployed to manage waste and maintain hygiene throughout the event.

To assist pilgrims, guidance centers and help desks have been set up at various locations to provide information and support. These centers will help devotees navigate the city, access medical facilities, and find lost belongings. Furthermore, dedicated volunteers will be available to assist the elderly, women, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort.

With meticulous planning and robust infrastructure, the administration aims to create a spiritually uplifting and hassle-free experience for all devotees participating in the Amrit Snan.
