Chandigarh, March 15 – Haryana’s Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said mutual brotherhood and unity are the core of rural development. Public representatives and rural people should take advantage of the schemes implemented by the government by maintaining mutual coordination and cordial environment so that the development of the village gets momentum.
The minister was addressing meetings in Harnampura and Rewar villages of his Assembly constituency on Saturday. In the felicitation ceremony organized in Harnampura village, the Cabinet Minister also announced several projects for the development of the village. Sh. Bedi inaugurated two lanes constructed by the Panchayat Raj Department at a cost of about Rs. 32 lakh and also laid the foundation stone of Kashyap Chaupal to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 20 lakh and lane construction work at an estimated cost of Rs. 11.86 lakh. Similarly, during his visit, the Cabinet Minister approved other development works worth crores of rupees worth about Rs. 63.86 lakh. Apart from this, he also announced a grant of Rs. 50 lakh to the Gram Panchayat.
The Cabinet Minister said the government is constantly striving for the all-round development of the state and is working with dedication towards improving the lives of people. Narwana area will also participate equally in this wave of development projects. No stone will be left unturned for public works and development of the area. He said he will try to live up to the trust that the people of the area have expressed in him during the elections.
