The Impressive TimesNEW DELHI, January10, 2025: Chief Minister Atishi today challenged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to reveal its Chief Ministerial candidate for Delhi, stating that the BJP’s likely choice is Ramesh Bidhuri—a leader notorius for his abusive language. Drawing sharp contrasts between the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) CM candidate Arvind Kejriwal, an accomplished IITian and former IRS officer, and the BJP’s preference for Ramesh Bidhuri — CM Atishi urged Delhiites to decide whether they want a progressive, professional leader or someone whose reputation is built on offensive behavior.
Addressing the media, CM Atishi said that today, all of Delhi has one question for the “Gaali-Galauch Party.” “The entire city wants to know one thing: Who is the Chief Ministerial candidate of the “Gaali-Galauch Party”? If you go to any street, neighborhood, colony, or park in Delhi, this is the topic of discussion. The Aam Aadmi Party has already declared its Chief Ministerial face. People know that if they vote for the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister of Delhi. But if they vote for the “Gaali-Galauch Party,” who will become their Chief Minister?”
Today, the BJP’s core committee meeting is underway. Later in the evening, the Parliamentary Board of the BJP will also hold a meeting. The CM stated, “Reliable sources have revealed that the “Gaali-Galauch Party” has decided to make Ramesh Bidhuri, the leader who uses the most abusive language, their Chief Ministerial candidate. Tomorrow, they might announce their candidates, and within two to three days, they will declare Ramesh Bidhuri as their Chief Ministerial face.”
She said, “So, if the people of Delhi press the lotus button, they will get Ramesh Bidhuri as their Chief Minister. Why is this decision being made? Because, in the “Gaali-Galauch Party,” the person who uses the most indecent language and the most abuses progresses the fastest. Ramesh Bidhuri used abusive language in Parliament, words so indecent that no civilized person in this country would use them. He abuses even his own party members. Everyone knows how he abused and physically assaulted Purvanchali leaders of his party, chasing them out onto the streets.”
Recently, Ramesh Bidhuri used derogatory language for Priyanka Gandhi and abused her. The next day, he abused CM Atishi and her family. “And now, as a reward for his abusive behavior, his party is about to declare him as their Chief Ministerial face. Reliable sources say that the decision was finalized in today’s CEC meeting and will be confirmed at the party’s Parliamentary Board meeting this evening,” she added.
The Chief Minister asserted, “The people of Delhi now have two options. On one side, there is Arvind Kejriwal, an IIT Kharagpur graduate, engineer, former IRS officer, and Income Tax Commissioner. He has provided 24-hour electricity, water to every home, improved government schools better than private ones, offered free healthcare, organized pilgrimages for the elderly, and free bus rides for women. On the other side, there is Ramesh Bidhuri, who uses abusive language and indecent remarks about women. The contrast is clear: the educated leader Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party versus the abusive leader Ramesh Bidhuri of the “Gaali-Galauch Party. I am confident that the people of Delhi will prefer an educated and hardworking Chief Minister.”
