Grand Inauguration of Modern School’s new synthetic Basketball & Lawn Tennis Court

Faridabad, February 5, 2024-  Modern School in Sector 17, Faridabad, celebrated a momentous occasion today as it officially inaugurated its state-of-the-art Synthetic Basketball and Lawn Tennis Court. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, making it an event to remember.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Mr. Dharmender, a distinguished sports personality from the District Sports Office, Sector 12, Faridabad. Adding a traditional touch, he also performed the coconut-breaking ritual at the entrance gate of the newly constructed court.

The event was honored by the esteemed presence of Mr. Suneel Bhardwaj, Ex-District Sports Officer, Faridabad, and President of the Net Ball Association, Haryana. Other distinguished guests included Mr. Ankur Singh, President of Bharat Swabhiman Trust & Coordinator of Haryana Yog Ayog, Mr. C.S. Dalal, Ex-Army Officer, renowned educationist, and referee for the demonstrative basketball match, Mr. Ajit Singh, President of Gramin Patanjali Yog Peeth, and Ms. Nibedita from Hindustan Times.

The welcome committee, consisting of Mr. S.K. Jain, Managing Director, and Mrs. Neelima Jain, Principal of Modern School, extended warm greetings to the esteemed guests with beautifully arranged bunches of flowers.

The highlight of the day was a thrilling demonstrative basketball match played between two teams of Modern School. Mr. C.S. Dalal, with his expertise, served as the referee, ensuring a fair and exciting competition.
